My car lost brake yesterday. When I hit (touch) the pad, the pad just did not move at all and the car kept forward.
The car was towed to a garage. I got a call today and was told that a part of engine was broken. The part was connecting the brake system and engine. The part was made of al but now it was melted out and just left a hole on engine. It will charge $500 to repair.
Does it sound reasonable? Thanks for comments!
