piece of cake. I used to do this twice a year. My drums were really messed up, only new shoe could work. So when the new shoes stop working, I'd change them. Yes absolutely you can DIY. The brake dust can be bad, so you will need something to cover your nose, and a vacuum to suck up the dust. Other than that, it's pretty staight forward. What kinda car?
