All you said are just basic diagnosis. If anything goes wrong and need to replace, you still need to goto repair shop to vacuum a/c for you after you replace it. I don't think you can DIY to repair, at least not for most DIYers. Thats why you will not find a chapter for A/C repair on service/repair manual.
