Are you saying that he is doing “leadership”

in order to avoid doing STEM?

He is only 13, should have plenty time doing both.

Point out to him that STEM should be his main focus. Leadership cannot and should not substitute any hard courses.

Nothing in leadership says to shirk hard tasks.
