Now, he is in a college, then what?
His thinking had been focused on an external reference point. When that is removed, he is lost.
College life is a wonderful time in a person's life. There're so many things he can do. Smell the flowers.
He needs to move that reference point into himself. What do I want? What is my own stuff? After so many years serving that external reference point, it is not easy to reclaim that "self".
