Under California Penal Code 12556, it is against the law for a person to display an “imitation firearm” in a public place. A BBG falls into the definition of an imitation firearm. A person can generally carry most types of BB guns in his or her car.

按理说加州算严的，也是可以放车里，但不要让别人看见引起不安
