CS PhD的出路

孩子现在的roommate是一个东南亚国家来的小亚, 美国Boarding School高中毕业, IMO gold, 后来MIT EECS本科, 现在读第三年AI 博士.

这小亚将来不太想去做教授, 也不想去Tech公司做SWE, 以前去华尔街实习做过Quant, 将来不想去金融公司工作, 剩下的好出路可能就是去Big Tech做Researcher了.

最近Google Research的人可能读了他的paper找上来了, 聊了一会儿就给了他明年夏天的Internship, 然后说愿意的话, during semesters 小亚可以part time 为Google Research工作, 大概每星期工作两天.
