If that is the goal, being a nurse is more honorable than being a doctor.
Being a doctor is like being an entrepreneur. It's all about business and make own business rolling.
Being a nurse is nothing but using your labor to help the patients out, to comfot and to heal. It's an honest, labor intense job with little benefit besides the salaries. But nursing job is always being downgraded to servititude because it's a job with much less pay and less authority than doctors.
The medical board is running a monopoly, setting a high barrier for entring into this career because it doesn't want to see more qualified eople sharing the proceeds with the current doctors. The value of being a doctor is grossly overated in U.S. It doesn't worth so much money paid to the doctors and hospitals.
