Have her stand on a chair in front of you.

 

You sit on the sofa and smile with a big grin.

Have her say: "Mom, I don't like this."  Repeat, with control and even tone.  Each time raise her volume, until it's on top of her lungs.  Ask her to smile while saying it.

Do it everyday after dinner.  Or, read a piece of her school work aloud.

 

Her sense of self is small and weak.  Ask for her opinion often.
