LOL——can someone claim you as dependent!

早晨坐马桶找到了这篇文章，说明了不是父母不claim 孩子做dependent，孩子就可以自己完全独立报税。1040上的question是 can someone claim you as dependent（和did or will someone claim you as dependent this tax year不同)---也就是说，即使父母放弃claim，自己也要有一定的收入来支持自己的生活超过50%，文章里有IRS的一张关于50%的计算表格的link。我扫描了一下表格，还是有猫腻可做，就是没有具体收入的数量，而是开销一项一项加起来，最后计算有没有50%。。。
