一年九万的收入，也可以供儿子上私校（续）

LOL，今天收到领导和我的W2，两人taxable收入一加，还真就九万出头呢。我都怀疑我前年年末计划的时候怎么算的帐，难度“账房先生”也有糊涂的时候？只好找出上一年的数字，发现还真是前年年末对去年的收入估计太乐观了点（领导公司前年被东家卖了，大约多发了一些奖金。去年新东家居然年终奖都没给。）。退休账户去年比前年多放了一万多，导致taxable收入减少了。。。

不错不错，过去一年做了很多大事：修房子花了三万多，存了两年的Roth IRA，居然儿子的学费准备还是按原计划执行----我今年工作合同年中到期就完成他第四年的开销准备。。。去年虽然有一些意外的收入，但给儿子学校确实少交了一万块，大约是儿子在家吃住的开销学校不算了。。。

昨天和领导看新闻，共和党提出的纾困计划，对收入的限制比前两次纾困计划的要求低很多，家庭收入超过八万就没有了。领导问：按共和党的计划，我们有希望拿到2800吗？我说去年计划错了，不该走Roth，要是走traditional IRA，就能压到八万以下了。。。领导说，你能去broker那里改改吗？LOL，领导就是领导，只发指示。。。我还等等，看白总是不是接受共和党的提案。如果有需要，contributed IRA也是可以recharacterization的。多年前做过一次。。。

提醒收入象我家一样低的网友，要收入九万孩子上私校，还是要把家庭理财当成一盘棋来下：父母退休/孩子学费/税收/家庭cash flow。。。
