Give him a blank book and

 

ask him to write down all the words he learned and the definition googled.

Have him show you the book every other day or once a week.  Tell him that you want to learn as well and ask him to make a sentence with the words.

That he can teach you should be reward enough.

If he is young enough, get him the Muse/Cricket magazine.
