Not all the 康色 are well-informed and knowledgeable.
In 1950 a stellar high school senior asked his school 康色 what he should study in college. The 康色 told him to study agriculture but he was not interested in. Then the 康色 advised him to study hotel management in Cornell because (1) the student's parents were in the restaurant business (2) Cornell was the best in the field. This student did go to the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell but he did not like it. So in his sophomore year he transferred to Cornell's College of Engineering to study Electrical Engineering. Later he went on to receive a PhD from MIT, became an assistant professor there, and then a full professor at UCSD, and eventually founded the telecomm giant Qualcomm. And the rest is history. His name is Irwin Jacobs, co-founder and former CEO of Qualcomm.
So, sometimes one has to take 康色的话 with a grain of salt.
