我认识很能干和很面的小朋友。只是觉得如果instead of making generalized complaints which is nothing new but following the popular stereotypes, as a brilliant and diligent professor you seem to be, why don't you try help them? In the unique situation that you understand these students' language and cultural backgrounds, you'll show your excellency, if you can free them up, or put in a humble way, give them a boost. I say this because I have seen the tremendous growth from my generation who become the stars/pioneers in their fields, coming from the so-called "narrow background". Well, just offering another perspective.
