Shares of Just Energy (NYSE:JE) surge 23% premarket after Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO) disclosed 28.9% stake in the company.

PIMCO acquired ~13.9M shares for a total of $38M, following a recapitalization in which the entities had obligations to backstop an offering of new common shares.
