Your older daughter has a big heart, high EQ, and a generous personality!
She will shine in the future!
May older daughte has similar traits. She was never an academic star nor she ever held any leadership position from kindergarten through high school. But she was always a happy girl, respectctful of her parents and teachers, and always had a lot of friends. After high school, she was lucky to be accepted by a top-25 school. At the high school graduation party, she sat at the same table with her close friends, most of whom got into Ivy/MIT/Stanford/Chicago. She was never jealous of her friends' achievements, laughing, smiling, and chatting with her friends all night long. She was super happy and confident, and did not feel any less of herself just becuase she did not get into any of those top schools that her friends did.
This past summer, her younger sister graduated from high school and got accepted into an ivy plus other top schools, and received a whole bunch of awards at the high school graudation ceremony.
My older daughter was extremely happy for her younger sister and showed no jealousy whatsoever.
She was able to find internships every summer in college and truly enjoyrf them, though her internships were not as prestigeous as those of her her friends who study in top schools. She is an Econ & Stat major and will graduate next May. She has received 2 full-time job offers (both are New Grad Development Rotation Program) as of today, one from Gartner Inc and another from one of the biggest payment companies. This time she is just as happy for her friends who got job offers from the FAANG or Wall Street firms as she was when graduating from high school.
Good luck to your daughters!
