Here is the list of summer programs my kid attended:
The summer before 9th grade: CTY, Game Theory;
The summer before 10th grade: 2-week backpacking in Yosemite;
The summer before 11th grade: Cosmos at UC Davis, Nano Technology;
The summer before 12th grade: SSP Astrophysics, New Mexico.

Of all these summer programs, she liked backpacking in Yosemite the best.
