加大这分校是咋回事，现在还让申请？

咱家宝贝申请的学校几乎皆北（州大旗舰申请的专业被据，给了一个一般录取。申请中的垫底学校给了通知，准备只好去这垫底学校了），现在怎么接到一个 UC santa cruz的电邮问想不想去那里？她申请UCLA，别的没申请。
