Headaches after spinal anesthesia usually appear up to a day after surgery, and resolve themselves in a couple of days or weeks.

Also some cases of headaches are reported after local and general anesthesia but these types of headaches tend to be sooner after surgery and more temporary than spinal anesthesia headaches.
