Disclosure for the post, which is being written by neither a paid consultant nor a representative of MS.

There are very bright kids who are truly ambitious and energized want to be admitted to elite MS. They usually have many AP or college credits being transferred to average to better undergraduate schools. They take double/triple majors to strengthen their applications for elite MS. If you get double/triple majors with one B.A. or B.S., it was very useful several years ago. Due to the relative large number of the applicants in recent years from general to better undergraduate schools, its advantages has been diluted. However, if you can get dual degree: one B.A and another B.S., or two BA or BS in 4 yrs, that's totally a different story.

Due to the reasons everyone may know, double/triple majors with one BA or BS from top to elite undergraduate schools is always impressive to AC. Of course, dual degree weights much more.
