Keep thinking to myself

I am very proud that I can keep thinking to myself before I know the facts.

Many years ago my daughter asked me to drop something to her car parked at her high school.  I placed the package at the passenger side. Before I closed the door, I saw a piece of trasofin the floor. When I picked it up, it was cigarette butt. I was puzzled by it for a moment. That was it. I was puzzled by it. I have never disclosed this observation to anyone besides this very posting.  Many scenarios ran in my head as to why and how the cigarette butt came to where it was.

That observation does not change my view of her in any way.  

We are not raising a saint nor a perfectly obedient kid in each and every way.
