西班(Spain), 葡萄(Portugal), both of them contain the character 牙(tooth).

They are translated by David Abeel, missionary of reformed church. He lived in Amoy/Xiamen in 1842. He used Hokkien to translate Spain and Portugal.

Spain was once called 日斯巴尼亚 which is from España:
