strongly agree. We had thought about

recommeding this major to our son. After talking with people with this major, looking at the courses required, and analyzing, we found this is not an idea major. If one wants to go medical school, it is much easier to do other majors. The courses are tough for most pre-med students, but less strigent than the ones with engineering majors. So it really does not have any advange. The best ones working on bioengineering, to my observation, are the ones majoring is engineering. They can find md as a collaborator to define the clinical problems and test on patients.
