基本上藥劑師填補處方的基本工作已經被機器所取代 ,   現在大部分零售藥店的大部分藥師都在做 prescription verification工作 (once a prescription is filled by machine or lowly paid technician), and patient consultation.

Some day (not too distant future), the AI will be advanced enough for verifcation and consultatoin and most non-emergency prescription can be remotely filled and mailed out by Amazon, emergency prescription can be dispensed through Amazon Whole-Food , the pharmacist job market will look very different from today.
