Something obvious. Get hold of your college student's weekly sc

College kids have much more freedom with their phones than they are in high school. They can text , but that doesn't mean they can talk over the phone.  It is never a good idea to call them whenever you want to chat.

Get hold of their class schedule plus work schedule,plus club meetings schedule,etc, so you have a better picture when you can  call, when you can expect a call. This will help cut down unnecessary anxiety.
