大家忽略了赵公子的National Merit? $2500 Scholarship Winners，这个很牛滴！

National Merit Scholarship Winners 分成三种：
Corporate-Sponsored Merit Scholarship® Winners（～1000）；College-Sponsored Merit Scholarship® Winners（～4000）；和National Merit® $2500 Scholarship Winners（～2500)，如果赵公子是National Merit® $2500 Scholarship Winners，这个很难的！从最后的15000个finalists 选出2500 个来，不容易！需要有很多supporting materials 和推荐信来支持的。以我们中学为例，每年有～20 National merit finalists, ~5 HYMPS, 但从来没有人拿过这个奖 National Merit® $2500 Scholarship Winners。所以起诉是有一定的道理的！

但如果是Corporate-Sponsored Merit Scholarship® Winners，那就很水了。以我们公司为例，每年50个名额，其中只有三分之一的人是进入semi final。即使PSAT成绩不到 cut off，也可以被称为Corporate-Sponsored Merit Scholarship® Winners。
