加州人口四千万以上，估计有1700-1900个NMS， 但BERKELEY只有109个NMS

随着这些好大学放弃给NMS资助， 而只给“NEED BASED”的穷学金，大量的NMS转向排名60名到190名的学校。

可将多数NMS也都是“NEED”资助的，不然谁会放弃读好大学的机会？　　

这显现了美国多数中产阶级的不富裕。

若干年后，我们也许会看见UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA， 或者UNIVERSITY ＯＦ　ＡＬＡＢＡＭＡ这样排名一百名左右的学校能够培养出一大批英才来。
