If you pick State U/full ride over ivy/full cost,

you are not saving $300k (typical private school cost for 4 years), you are saving $100k (in-state cost) for 4 years.

Because the ivy & state U are two different products, much like Chanel vs Coach.

Now, that doesn't mean a Coach is less suitable or durable or usable than a Chanel.

But a Chanel is a Chanel. A Coach is a Coach.
