If you doubt confidence, you do not know how critical people's psyche play role in success. It is main discussions in so many areas, and also the author's main point, the reason why author argue the disadvantage of Ivy league.

问题怎么知道是垫底? Easy, your child SAT, AP grade, beside grades, your child confidence about overcoming difficult, classes in Ivy college are heavy, the students there are general in High IQ. Your child should have some national awards, otherwise, he(she) will be at bottom. Normal American students are so so, but top American levels students are extremely good, especially their reading skills, their broad knowledge, their creative thinking.
