Impacted major. All engineering and some biology major are impacted major. You can choose to transfer later, but it's not easy, depends how many spot opened up and how many candidates want to transfer in. It's very competitive, needs at least 3.6 GPA and no guarantee. If your child has other choices, better TaKe that.
