HYPSM中 哈佛和斯坦福与其它三校的差距在拉开- 兼评十大名校

21世纪，目前看，斯坦福上升势头凶猛，其年学校预算经费已经超过哈佛。
endowment 斯坦福目前尚只有哈佛一半多，但超P赶Y毫无问题。

学术方面，斯坦福法商医工都可列前三，哈佛工科还比较靠后。

哈佛多年忽视工科与同城有一个M很有关系。

MIT，Princeton学术顶尖，但面比较窄。 Yale全，但多数学科精度没其它四校高。Caltech就更尖窄了。
当然好大学并不需要面面俱到。

Columbia, Chicago, Penn, Duke 基本是同档学校。 每家都有比较优秀的法，商，
医学科，工科都偏弱。风格上Chicago更偏学术些，Penn偏职业培养，Columbia 介
于两者之间，Duke学术比另三校稍弱，但整体实力不俗。

US NEWS其它大学与前十大学差距比较明显。Columbia近年有往前五靠的趋向，但差
距还是很明显。

二十一世纪第一校会是哪家？ 斯坦福绝对是有力(也许是唯一) 竞争者，虽然难度
也很大，因为哈佛自我更新能力也超强。
