It is not the pressure of study, but the control

Deep down, there is more social issue than psychological issue which we may not like to admit as parents.

If you would like to be the best, at least you can try. It is within your control in a less affluent area such as Fremont.

But if your family is not well-off, or does not have much connections, there is nothing you can do. It is not within your control. There are many billionaires + Multi-millionaires living in Palo Alto.

I think this is the difference between Palo Alto High Schools and Mission San Jose High.
