俺收到这个邀请，但不大想参加。因为俺知道年轻人来参加的目的是找工作，俺没任何线索，俺去只能浪费别人时间。

Dear Dr. Sun,

As a distinguished contributor to SPIE Photonics West, I am pleased to extend an
invitation for the Lunch with the Experts – A Student Networking Event on Tuesday 10 February from
12:30 – 1:30pm in the InterContinental Hotel, Ballroom A/B. While providing fun and food,
this event gives students an opportunity to network with optics leaders in an informal atmosphere. 

In addition, I would like to extend an invitation for the Speed Networking Social Tuesday evening
from 4:30 – 6:00pm. This event engages up and coming professionals and valued SPIE contributors
in a rapid networking setting. Please consider coming to network with some of the top young minds at
the conference while enjoying appetizers at our off-site venue, ThirstyBear Brewing Co. 

To attend either event (or both) please send me a reply no later than Friday 23 January. Thank you.
