孩子太痴迷读书了怎么办？

三年级，上课的时候抽屉里放一本书读。因为这个，课堂作业常常忘了做。还把书带到数学课教室去读。
连续几天带老师的纸条回家了。周末严肃的跟他说了说，让他把课堂任务完成了再读书。昨天仍然没有完成就读书。
上学期因为这个事儿已经说过他很多次了。这学期好像也没有什么改观。
读的是小说，哈利波特什么的。
