I'd add that people still need to find a place to park the money

, and stock market is the place to be, regardless of market turmoil. Are stocks over-valued? Maybe, but as long as corporate profits are growing, stock market should not step into bear territory. Are we going to see a big correction? Likely, but it's not the end of the world. At least it should go up and down with a flat if not upward trend.

I'd keep my powder try, and buy when the blue chips decline sharply. Last Friday, FB dropped 4%, and I bought the first 1/4 of my position.
