The build up of silver on Comex is by clients and the sellable portion is very small. Silver usually go down twice as fast as gold. I remember last time in 2008, the gold/silver ratio is 87 and this time it is 67 at the worst. Silver has been on backwardation for a long time meaning people want physical even it is more expensive.
Silver mostly come with base metal and base metals are doing poorly. The production of silver should go down with base metals. Pure silver mines have very high cost so I only has two silver stocks.
