From 3x NUGT to Day Trader, why loss money is a norm.

From 3x NUGT to Day Trader, you have to win 50 percent and only lost 30 to 33 percent to make it even, and this even not consider tax factor.

NUGT reset on daily based while day trader reset on each trade.

case one: you win first
you invest 100 dollar, which become 150 for a 50% gain.
next time, you lost 30%, your 150 dollars become 100 again.

case two: you lose first
you invest 100 dollar, which become 66.7 dollar for a 33% percent loss.
next time you have to make a 50% gain for these 66.7 dollar become 100 dollar again.

This will account for a 17 percent to 20 percent difference.
