I think you should ask the uestion: do most Wallstreeters want their own children to work on the Wall Street if the kids have the aptitude and the opportunity? I think the answer is probably yes, unless the parents have made so much money that their trust fund for the kids is large enough that they no longer worry.

Ask the same question to parents who are engineers - you might get a different answer from most of the parents. However, I believe most doctors still want their children to become doctors, and most successful business owners want their kids to someday follow their own footsteps.
