if it's the basic series, you should be about cm4. if it's all-in-one, about cm3. my son self-studied the 6 books in the all-in-one series, and was upgraded to intermediate level (according to the teacher) after several lessons. definately not cm4 level. i could be wrong, but hope it helps a little:)
