crap! why goog report ER during the day?

I was going to buy the OCT 700 put at 2.5 dollar in the PM before the close when goog is at 755, but suddenly it dropped to 680, and that put option is worth 15 dollars now!

Then I realized they reported ER already! Holy crap, wasted a gooden opportunity to make huge money! 15/2.5 = 600% in a few hours!
