Technical analysis is widely used among traders and financial professionals but basically does not work in manipulated markets. The inputs are fraudulent and the results just can't be reliable (garbage in, garbage out).

Therefore you shouldn't be using the rules of technical analysis in manipulated markets if you don't have the insider information to figure out and to eliminate the effects of the manipulations.
