was in 1888. putting this into perspective, the local governments and organizations have prepared and responded it well. yes. the infrastructures especially power sytems need to be improved. but that's not what some folks here should schadenfreude about. I believe it's the same in Canada that people come together and help each other when a disaster like this comes. I witnessed this during 9/11 and i am witnessing it now and feel fortunate to live in such a great community in such a great nation.
