Kids who love music shows their love for it at this age. Your kid is not a music kid. I gave up on my son's music lessons, just let him free play piano, guitar. I teach him a few chords and musics. But I am not as good as professional teachers. He is happy to play like this, and I am happy.

But he loves sports, he can play soccer for three hours, until he is so tired and drops to the ground. That is love for something.

A friend, who is 40, said she hates piano (she can play very well) because her parents forced her to learn piano when she was 7. She rarely plays it, though we can still tell how good she could be when she very occasionally plays a bit.

I do not want my son to hate piano when he grows up.
