just know what is real GT in US and how school treat real GT

all think 学校快班 and magnet are GT. it's not. the real GT student, one in a few years in a school district. school will meet the parents any requirement so tearcher can push this kid to his or her limit. school doesn't allow the parents to let kid lay back. those are based on school's IQ test, not the one you take outside.
