She is doing excellent in language and social study because she is a "book worm". Reading extensively definitely helps.
I believe any ABCs with good Chinese will excel in English too, because of their ability in language.
My second one, Chinese is not as good as his sister, language arts in English is relatively weaker too. As the parents, you can tell right way he will be a math/science kid.
