in high school, usually popularity determins leadership position and you won't get popularity through personnality of 争强好胜. My kid belives in that everything goes to its natual path. (e.g.) no need to manage time, for that, this kid even forgot one ivy school's interview. The only good thing I can say about my kid is: this kid has a very charming, warm and sweet personality (and image too :)), and is very sunny, which, I believe, was reflected in the application profile including essays.
