Good afternoon, I wanted to follow up with you regarding GATE. My principal told the staff that the District representative will be meeting with us "at some time in March", regarding any GATE referrals we may be making for this year's third/fourth and/or fifth graders. The recommendations, and the accompanying paperwork, will not be "due" until the end of the year and the letters will go to parents over the summer. I'll let you know when the district rep. would like to meet with us.

Good morning, Thank you for your email. Unfortunately, there is no way to speed up the process as we need to wait from the district to find out what student data they are using for qualification. Sometimes they use 2nd grade STAR test scores, etc. I can confirm that （此处删去两字，二娃的名字） is a very strong student, consistently throughout the subjects and I would be surprised if he didn't qualify. I will let you know as soon as I hear anything. In the meantime, you can go to the district's website and look up GATE and read the information they have.
