109.5 will unlikely qualify for AIME.

Last year, the bottom of top 2.5% AMC 10 scores is around 114. This year, the AMC 10 is a bit easier than last year, so the cutoff will be around 120 again.

 

Your kid may want to try AMC 10B on Feb 23, 2011.
