First, A lot of MIT students entered medical field.  Secodn, not al l students who are good at science are in MIT or CalTech.  Thrid, It’s a cliché that learning medicine does not need to be smart. I grantee you, if you are not smart you wouldn’t be able to be a good doctor.  Strong analytic ability is the key to good doctors.  Also, strong personal communication is extremely important to good doctors.  Fourth, we need to redefine the smartness.  Not just only good at science is smart.  People can be smart in so many different ways.
