西装革履的危点时刻

刚买了套新西装，深蓝色带暗条子，既经典还不乏时尚 - 后面双开切。

那承想，接着上网，就看到拉瑞-萨么斯(Larry Summers)侃他当校长的经验，之一，是能从学生穿西装的时间上，鉴别优劣生。原话是这样的：

“One of the things you learn as a college president is that if an undergraduate is wearing a tie and jacket on Thursday afternoon at three o'clock, there are two possibilities. One is that they're looking for a job and have an interview; the other is that they are an a**hole. This was the latter case.”

萨么斯的latter case 是指他当年与Winklevoss brothers的遭遇。凡是留意过脸书（FaceBook）发家史的人，或者看过电影《Social Network》者，都会知道 Zuckerberg vs. Winkevoss twins…的事。不过，大学校长以时间vs.西装来量人的方法，有普遍性吗？

仰视过萨么斯真人演讲一次，刚好在他被迫辞去哈弗校长职位之前，比较随意，不给听众以距离的样子。电影里再见时，看那替身很有气势。现在新闻里感觉着，好像学者追求真理和真实。

名人怎么也是有效用的。拿起那新西装看了又看，尽管不舍，仍然及时给这礼物的收受人发了电邮：“既然目前不找工作不面试，西装是不是直接免了，省得穿出骂来？”

与西装无关：《Social Network》太值得一看了。
